Digital Flat Printing
Commercial quality printing which deposits ink on the surface of the paper. Our short-run digital printing process allows for fast and easy custom combinations of ink colors, lettering styles and layouts at an economical price.
Raised Printing (Thermography)
To simulate the look of engraving, wet ink is dusted with a resin compound powder. When the powder is heated, the ink and resin fuse together raising the lettering above the invitation’s surface. Thermography offers the timeless look of raised printing at an affordable price.
Letterpress Printing
The technique of letterpress printing involves pressing an inked metal plate into soft, textured paper. The pressure from the plate creates an impressed image leaving the wording crisp and sharp in appearance. Letterpress is the oldest method of printing, but it is once again trendy giving invitations a distinctive character.
Copper Plate Engraving
Engraving is the most traditional form of invitation printing. Text is etched into a copper plate. The plate is pressed into cardstock leaving an impression that is inked. You can tell true engraving by the bruise that is made on the back of the paper by the printing plates.
