Parts of a Wedding Invitation Ensemble

Invitation
The main piece of your ensemble is the invitation to your marriage ceremony. The invitation includes the names of the couple being married with the date, time and place of the ceremony.

Reception Card
Reception cards are used to give details about celebrations held after the marriage ceremony. If the reception is not at the same location as the ceremony, there may not be enough space on the ceremony invitation to include the reception information.

Reply Set
Not only does a reply set help you plan the final details of your festivities, you may find that many of your guests will send you notes with well wishes and let you know how much they are looking forward to celebrating with you.

Enclosures
Enclosure cards are for communicating any additional details about your event.
The most common uses are for directions and travel information. If your celebration includes pre-wedding parties and/or day-after events, you may want to send this information or an agenda with your invitation. An enclosure card can be used to direct guests to your personalized wedding website. And an enclosure can replace a reply set if you are requesting responses to be sent electronically.

Thank You Notes
A hand written thank you to your guest is a proper finale to your festivities.
